Dosi Face is a potent Indica -dominant hybrid strain of cannabis first grown in the United States. Dosi Face is attributed to a cannabis company in Portland known as Archive Seed Bank, which has been growing in popularity in recent years. In order to create this wonderful little morsel of cannabis goodness, they had to cross Do-Si-Dos with Face Off OG. The name is an obvious blending of these two parent strains, but Dosi Face also blends the physical aspects and the type of high that its parent strains produce. THC concentrations in this strain vary highly based on conditions of the growing and curing processes, but you should expect a concentration near 24% on average.
Physically, Dosi Face flowers are quite appealing, which might be why you can’t seem to get your hands on any. Most dispensaries that stock the strain are likely to run out quite quickly due to their bag appeal and cult following. Dosi Faceplants produce incredibly unique-looking, almost-yellow nugs. They are dense to the touch, but still a bit springy in hand. These forest-green flowers are covered in winding orange hairs and a thick layer of crystal trichomes. These trichomes are almost gold in colour, which makes the bud look like little gold nuggets the miners might have found panning for gold.
These aromatic flowers are not subtle, but not pungent either. They produce a fresh aroma that contains scents such as sharp pine, sour citrus, sweet lemon, and a bit of fresh earth. The flavour is quite similar, though a bit smoother on the lips which make for incredibly flavorful and enjoyable smoke.
Despite Dosi Face’s often lacklustre THC concentration, the entourage effects provided by the strain’s additional terpenes such as Limonene and Linalool create an incredibly potent high. Some have experienced an incredibly deep and relaxing body high that locks them in place for hours on end, providing the optimal level of comfort and mental clarity needed to shake some of the Sunday scaries.
Others have found that this strain promotes creative endeavours by ushering in a sense of energetic euphoria that has them up and at ‘em for hours.
